The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a competitive exam jointly administered by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordinating Committee and the Ministry of Education. This is one of the most difficult and popular exams sought by all candidates. GATE is an essential exam for those seeking admission to the IITs for higher education and those seeking employment opportunities in Public Sector Undertakings or PSU.
